What is american football korea?

American football in Korea has been gaining popularity over the years, with more and more teams and leagues emerging in the country. The Korea American Football Association (KAFA) is the governing body of American football in Korea.

There are currently eight teams in the top division of the KAFA, known as the Korea American Football League (KAFL). These teams include the Seoul Vikings, the Seoul Survivors, the Gyeonggi Thunderbirds, the Incheon Black Eagles, the Busan Rhinos, the Daegu Phoenix, the Ulsan Jungang Jaguars, and the Jeju Reapers.

In addition to the KAFL, there are also several other leagues and competitions throughout Korea, such as the Korean National Flag Football League and the Korea Women's American Football League.

American football is still a relatively new sport in Korea, and there are many challenges that the KAFA and its teams face, such as limited funding and resources, lack of awareness and understanding of the sport, and difficulty in competing with more established sports like baseball and soccer. However, the growth and enthusiasm surrounding American football in Korea is promising for the future of the sport in the country.
